gh0st.ai — agent platform for builders.

An agent-orchestration platform for teams building real products on top of LLMs. We owned product strategy and the early build — from a thin demo to a platform with paying design partners.

The problem

Where it started.

Every team in 2024 was trying to ship 'an AI feature' and discovering the same wall: orchestration. Tool-use, memory, evals, retries, observability — none of it existed in the model providers' SDKs, and none of it was easy to assemble from scratch. gh0st's bet was to be the spine for builders who wanted to ship agents into production without writing the infrastructure underneath them twice.

The build

What we shipped.

Set the product wedge: agent platform for production, not a chat playground. Built the v1 around three primitives — tools, memory, evals — with an opinionated workflow runner and a tracing layer that made debugging an agent feel like debugging a normal service. Recruited design partners across health tech, e-comm, and dev tools, and shipped weekly against their real workloads.

The result

What it did.

Moved gh0st from a demo into a platform with design partners running production traffic. Closed the first paid contracts. The Apple Vision Pro neurosurgery prototype (see /work/spatial-ai) was built on the same platform — proof that the spine holds when the workload is genuinely hard.
